About DudeFishinG
DudeFishinG is a Taiwan fishing community app and information site. We bring together tide and weather forecasts, fish profiles and historical catch records to help anglers plan and record trips.
Catch records
People submit catches through the app. We keep submitted records separate from records that meet the checks for location and time used in public statistics. In the 2026-09-04 snapshot, 14,038 of 33,022 submitted catches were included in trusted statistics. These are historical, voluntary reports, not a survey of fish abundance or a live biting forecast.

Tide forecasts come from Taiwan's Central Weather Administration. Local weather forecasts are used where a location can be matched to a local administrative area; Open-Meteo supplies coordinate-based weather and marine fields. Check the update time on each forecast page. Conditions at the water can differ.
Names, access and safety
English fish names are published only after review. Local place names may remain in Traditional Chinese. Fishing access and safety depend on current official notices and signs on site; our historical records do not establish whether a place is open or safe today.
